What is the session about?
Get a clear, practical understanding of carbon accounting and why it matters for your organization. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of greenhouse gas reporting, including consolidation approaches and the differences between Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Through an interactive activity, you’ll explore how to identify, track, and ultimately reduce both your organization’s and your supply chain’s carbon footprint—equipping you with the knowledge to take meaningful climate action.

This workshop will provide participants with:
- An understanding of the concept of ‘scopes’
- Sources of carbon and the GHG Protocol
- Guidance on setting Organizational Boundaries
- Guidance on Setting Operational Scopes for carbon
- Insight on why we need them for reporting
